Find an influencer, build a business for them

Find someone with an audience and become their entrepreneur.

One of the hardest parts of building a company is distribution.

Influencers already have it.

There are thousands of creators, experts, YouTubers, podcasters and niche personalities with audiences that trust them, but they don't necessarily know how—or want—to build companies.

That creates an interesting partnership.

Don't ask the influencer to promote your startup.

Build the startup with them.

They understand the audience.

They know what people repeatedly ask for.

They already have credibility.

You bring the product, technology, operations and business execution.

Instead of:

Founder → Product → Find an audience

you start with:

Audience → Problem → Product → Company

The influencer doesn't need to become an entrepreneur.

And the entrepreneur doesn't need to become an influencer.

Each person brings what the other one is missing.

Sometimes the best way to start a company is not to find a cofounder who can code.

It's to find a cofounder who already has the customers.
